while i was away i read What Remains by Carole Radziwill, a devastating memoir about the Kennedy/Radziwill family. 

i have always been fascinated by the Kennedy's, and was especially taken by JFK Jr's wife, Carolyn. my first scrapbooks were always full of images of her and her beautifully simple style. the book brought me to tears in the Rome Termini - a sad reminder of one of my early style inspirations.
