(opinion/stirrups):

i have taken much flack for sporting the stirrup pant, but i will continue to do so nonetheless. i first fell in love with a pair at French Connection last year and my collection has only grown from there. 

i'm short and thus gravitate towards tights and leggings that provide me with more length. anything that cuts mid-calf is a disaster. this explains my intense aversion to capri pants and why i often pull my non-stirrup leggings over my feet to emulate the look anyway. 

style.com's stylefile blog doesn't seem quite convinced, but i only have love for the stirrup pant.
