(love): spectacles

in class last night my prof asked me to solve an equation he'd just written on the board. by the time i had stumbled through my explanation, i realized that i was squinting so much to read the board that my eyes were virtually closed. nevermind that it was a seemingly impossible equation to answer; i simply could not see the board!

this situation tends to happen to me once a year, and is both exciting and deeply upsetting. yay, it's time for new glasses, but shoot, at this rate i'll have bifocals by 30. luckily, there are so many beautiful spectacles out there for me to choose from that make it easier for me to embrace my genetics (thanks, mom).

i currently capital L Love these zebra frames by Prism that i discovered on the vogue uk blog. if i've gotta wear them everyday i better love them, right?!
