i love this photo for 2 reasons:
1. when i was little, i wanted to be my older sister so bad. everything she did i desperately tried to copy. when she gave me her hand-me-down doc martens that she'd spraypainted blue sparkles, i thought i'd died and gone to heaven. the side tie this girl's got going on with her baggy t is exactly how ol' boo used to do her kurt cobain-esque flannel. to me, this look was, and still is the cats pjams.
2. i spent a little time lusting after that celine tote at holts this holiday season. it's perfectly simple and i love it ♥
